The primary pre-requisite to surviving PHP Boot Camp is being ready to think

You'll be building a web-site with all the basic elements required for a full-featured dynamic web-site

You are not expected to know much about programming, web-servers, or other super-geeky computer things. Knowing some HTML, or being able to build static pages with DreamWeaver or FrontPage is a big help, but not strictly required.

You really only need to know how to:
    o Use a basic text-editor like Notepad, SimpleText, or Pico
    o Surf the web
    o Think

Be prepared to work intensively!

PHP for ASP Programmers

You should be familiar with ASP's while and for loops and using database objects, as well as HTML generation and fundamental SQL statements such as CREATE TABLE, SELECT, INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE. Familiarity with using/programming COM object will be helpful, but not strictly required.

PHP for C Programmers

Whether you're a beginner or expert C Programmer, this course is for you! You should be familiar with C's most basic language constructs if, for, and while as well as function declarations and usage. Arrays and structs should also be familiar. A little C++ knowledge will be helpful, but not required.

PHP for Perl Programmers

"Because sometimes a Swiss Army Knife isn't the right weapon"
You'll probably know more Perl than I do -- But I know enough about Perl (and a whole lot of PHP) to give you a great jump-start in using a maintainable, simple language that was custom-designed for just spewing out web pages.
Familiarity with modPerl and embedded Perl will be particularly helpful, though not required.
